The Latvian Fund for Nature and the Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre invite you to a conference on climate-friendly agricultural methods. The event will take place on April 17 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm online.

Since 2018, the Latvian Fund for Nature together with partners – Institute for Environmental Solutions, Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre, Czech Center for Science and Society has been implementing the LIFE CRAFT project.
The project practically tests and demonstrates three different methods - no-till, biochar application in the soil and controlled drainage, which allow reducing CO2 and other GHG emissions, introduces farmers to these methods and collects practical recommendations for the application of these methods in Latvian conditions.
At the final conference of the project, experts will present these innovative, climate-friendly agricultural methods and the results of their testing in Latvia.
